Dr. Yingkun Brunner has extensive knowledge of European and Chinese patent law and advises our clients, in particular in the field of biology and biochemistry.<\/p>\n
She studied biology at Shaanxi Teacher’s University in Xi’an, China, at Hebei Teacher’s University in Shijiazhuang, China and at the Institute of Genetics of the Chinese Academy of Science. She then worked as a lecturer at various universities in China and Germany, namely at Yantai Teacher’s College, China, at the Hebei Hybrid Wheat Institute of Hebei Teacher’s University, China and at the Faculty of Biology of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen (LMU Munich<\/a>). Dr. Brunner also obtained a doctorate at the Institute of Botany there in 1997. From 1997 to 2004, Dr. Brunner worked as a scientist and project manager at various research institutions, including MWG Biotech AG in Germany, before switching to intellectual property law in 2004 and starting her career at a renowned German patent and law firm in Munich. Dr. Brunner has been admitted as a European Patent Attorney since 2010 and joined the team of KNH Patentanw\u00e4lte in 2015 and moved to karo IP<\/a> in 2018.
